Strategic Finance makes two new appointments

Property financier, Strategic Finance Limited, has made two new executive appointments.

Chief executive officer Jock Hobbs has named Tony Abraham as senior executive property finance and Helen Rosel as operations manager vehicle finance.

Hobbs said the company¹s property lending activities will be strengthened by the appointment of Abraham, who has been at Elders Finance for the past two years as finance manager responsible for managing and growing a property development and investment portfolio.

Prior to Elders, Abraham spent three years in London with RadoBank International and Credit Suisse First Boston. after starting his carer at ASB Bank in Auckland.

He graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Management Studies, majoring in accounting and finance.

Rosel¹s appointment follows a decision by Strategic to move into motor vehicle financing.

She has been with UDC Finance for the past 23 years, most recently as manager dealer acceptance.

Hobbs said Rosel¹s high profile in the automotive industry will play a valuable role in the development of the company's motor vehicle financing operation.
