BankDirect has made two senior appointments to its management team.

Jim Anderson has been appointed head of BankDirect. He brings 38 years banking industry experience to the direct banking pioneer.

He left this role in 2003 to establish a contact centre for ASB Bank business banking, prior to taking up this appointment at BankDirect.

Anderson replaces Kevin Leith, who has returned to ASB Bank as chief manager strategy development.

Anna Curzon has been appointed marketing manager of BankDirect. She takes up the role following a seven year placement at ASB Bank where she was most recently strategy and channel manager, ASB Online.

Curzon was initially employed by ASB Bank in 1997 as part of the graduate trainee programme after completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and a Diploma of Commerce in Management at the University of Auckland.

Since then she has been involved in a number of leading ASB Bank initiatives in the areas of eCommerce, mCommerce and online banking.
