Sovereign has announced three key changes to its marketing line-up. Scott Black, formerly general manager distributed products, takes over as general manager Risk and Health from Adam Heath, who was recently appointed general manager Home Loans.

David Drillien is the new general manager Distributed Products, vacating the post of general manager Corporate Affairs.

Meanwhile, the departure of general manager Product Management – Actuarial, Robin Clark, sees former Senior Actuary Strategic Projects Linda Page step into the role of general manager Product Actuarial and Strategic Projects.

Black began in the insurance industry as an adviser in 1984 and progressed through various sales and marketing roles with Prudential, Colonial, and now Sovereign, where he has worked since the merger in 2000.

As general manager Distributed Products, a post he held for four years, he was responsible for marketing Sovereign's investment and home loan products.

Drillien joined Colonial in 1995, focussing on market research and later marketing communications. He has been with Sovereign since 2000, where he was most recently responsible for managing Sovereign's media, government and industry relations.

Since joining Guardian 25 years ago, Linda Page has worked in a variety of actuarial, finance and IT roles. She is currently vice president of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries.
