Lianne Murphy

Current head of commercial and rural sales in ASB's global market team, LIANNE MURPHY has been appointed.

She has more than 15 years of senior experience in share broking and global markets.

ASB executive general manager wealth and insurance Adam Boyd says Murphy has a long and successful history of leading teams responsible for client servicing and relationship management.

“Lianne’s unique combination of skills, background and strengths made her the obvious choice for the Aegis leadership role as we continue to grow and build our capabilities as a bank-backed platform,” Boyd says.

Aegis holds more than $12.5 billion in funds under administration.

Murphy takes up the role on January 23, replacing Angela Busby who leaves ASB this month to take up the role of chief officer people and culture at Sovereign.
