The PAA will make another attempt to hold a meeting to wind-up the association.

It was not able to get quorum at its recent meeting, where members were to vote to conclude the association.

Members are being encouraged to shift to Financial Advice NZ, which now has more than 1800 members.

Chief executive Rod Severn said it would try again on October 4, in Auckland.

He said it was frustrating but he was confident quorum would be achieved at the next attempt and the PAA could then be wound up.
