We are a newly married couple aged 31. We spent our twenties travelling and exploring work options. We are both now settled in the slightly fickle freelance world of the film and TV industry.
Because of work contacts this requires us to live in Auckland (otherwise we probably wouldn't).
We rent a great house in an inner-city suburb, which we think is cheap at $320 per week.
We have managed to save $40,000 in six months, which is in an interest-earning cheque account...
