Doubt Cast On Bollard's Warning

Mortgage broker Mike Pero has not seen any sign of people heeding Reserve Bank Governor Alan Bollard's warning about the housing market.

The national median house price has stabilised at $215,000, and the Real Estate Institute says residential property investors may be taking Dr Bollard's advice to cool their heels.

But the chief executive of Mike Pero Mortages says September was a record month for his company.
