"The decline from March's all time high of $434 was anticipated, as demand for property normally quietens in April," said Barfoot & Thompson managing director Peter Thompson.
He said April's average weekly rent was achieved across 674 new property rentals, and that at $421, the April average weekly rent was $23 higher than a year ago.
