Luke Meintjes joins Mortgage Express from Heartland Bank where he was the business development and relationship manager for seven years. Meintjes has 30 years’ professional experience.
Mortgage Express says Meintjes will focus on building strong teams with trusted relationships and also develop professional skills.
His responsibilities as sales manager will focus around building the Mortgage Express adviser team. He will focus on support and training, compliance and customer outcomes.
“Having worked both sides of the fence, Luke understands the challenges advisers face, and has the skills and knowledge to support them”, chief executive Sarah Johnston says.
Meintjes will be based in the Auckland office.
Mortgage Express has been in the business since 1998. It settles $1 billion in loans annually.
