Home loans rates not keep up with OCR increases - apparently. [READ ON]
In rates news Kiwibank followed Westpac and ASB and changed rates but took a different approach. While the other two banks decreased medium and long-term rates and increased short term rates, Kiwibank increased its one-year rate 10 basis points, and cut its two-year rate 16 points.
That makes its two-year Special look pretty good. But its standard rate is stranded at the bottom of the table. [Check it out here where we sort the table lowest to highest two-year rate].
