The ‘No policy fees. For life’ offer is on new eligible Fidelity Life policies generated between June 1 and August 31, 2023.

Fidelity Life chief customer officer, Peter Doherty says the offer is one way the company is helping more New Zealanders have greater long-term certainty with life insurance protection.

“We’re focused on closing the under-insurance gap. We know around 70% of New Zealanders are under-insured and that means many of our friends, colleagues and family are exposed to risk if the unexpected were to happen.

“We’re here for the long term good of New Zealand, and waiving policy fees for life is one way we’re helping more New Zealanders protect their lives and livelihoods,” says Doherty

Fidelity Life encourages all New Zealanders to talk to their financial adviser to get the right advice and protection to suit their individual needs.

With Fidelity once being an adviser friendly insurer things have sure changed. Nil policy fees seems more about trying to boost their new business. Their new academy for new advisers could be seen as the first step in dropping the broker relationship for the old tied adviser model. Definitely not the relationship model Milton grew the business with.
