Allan Morris is the newly appointed president of the Corporation of Insurance Brokers (CIBNZ).
Morris, who is chief executive of Willis Corroon Ltd, has 23 years experience iin the industry.
The CIBNZ has 87 member firms which handle more than $1 billion in premiums each year.
CIBNZ members account for more than 80 per cent of all fire and general insurance business handled by intermediaries.
