Denis Thom is to replace Kevin O'Connor as head of the Stock Exchange's market surveillance panel.
Thom has been deputy chairman and a member of the panel since 1993. He will be succeeded by Brian Kreft, who has been a panel member since 1989.
Two new members of the panel are retired Court of Appeal judge Ian McKay and Auckland accountant Peter Hay.
