Southpac Investment Management chief executive Arthur Grimes has been appointed director of Victoria University's Institute of Policy Studies.
Dr Grimes replaces Gary Hawke, who has served as director since 1987. Professor Hawke returns to Victoria's school of economics and finance as professor of economic history.
Southpac, a subsidiary of the National Bank of New Zealand, was sold recently to AMP Investments.
