Maurice Maclaren has left BT Funds Management to take up the position of chief executive at InvestmentLink New Zealand (ILNZ).
He has been chairman of ILSC Ltd and ILNZ Ltd boards for the past four years, and has taken over from Frank Habrle at InvestmentLink New Zealand.
“After six years at BT, and having been involved with InvestmentLink for four of those, I guess some would said it’s about time I made up my mind!” Maclaren says.
“I believe InvestmentLink has real potential to deliver for both fund managers and advisers, and I think it’s a great opportunity for me. Technology is moving fast and we have a great new product which we are moving towards launching later this year.”
