Tower Managed Funds has announced the appointment of Michael Coote as National Manager Wholesale Funds/Major Accounts. Coote will report to Stephanie McGreevy in the combined new Tower Managed Funds’ Distribution platform, which has been built to meet the needs of Tower's growing mezzanine business.
Michael Coote comes to Tower Managed Funds from Money Managers, and brings with him a wealth of technical and practical experience as well as a range of skills, including customer relationship management, business development and presentation, market analysis and business growth.
He comes to this new role at a time when Tower’s mezzanine and alliance business is experiencing significant growth.
"We have a large number of corporate and alliance customers who are increasingly looking at Tower Managed Funds for specialised product and service solutions," says Stephanie McGreevy. Examples include the New Zealand Post alliance, relationships with Building Societies and Credit Unions and the emergence of Tower Managed Funds’ new joint venture company Goldridge. Coote takes up the role at the end of June and will be based in Auckland.
