Graham Duston has left his role as head of ANZ Funds Management in Auckland to establish a managed fund business for SBS.
The new business is based in Christchurch and will be up and running next year.
Besides working at ANZ Duston has held positions with Tower Trust (now Tower Managed Funds) and Armstrong Jones.
