The Royal & SunAlliance Group in Australia and New Zealand has announced a new organisational structure for the group’s operation.
Michael Wilkins, currently managing director, Australia, will become managing director and chief executive, Australia and New Zealand.
The new management structure, effective 3 February 2003, is:

Alan Bradley, chief executive of the New Zealand business, Ivan Hoshek, finance director in New Zealand and Warwick Harvey, human resources director for New Zealand will leave the company. All three have agreed to stay to help deal with any transitional issues associated with the new structure.

Christine Scott and James Douglas will report into Dennis Fox, and Anthony Quirk will report into Michael Good.
Wilkins says the new organisational structure enhances the ability of the New Zealand and Australian businesses to focus on market segments where they can continue to deliver quality products and services.
"This new organisational structure will allow each business within the Australasian group to have autonomy in relation to its operating functions, while being supported by an overarching corporate function that determines the group’s overall strategic direction and priorities," Wilkins says.
Functions such as marketing and general administration will be maintained in both Australia and New Zealand in order to ensure the group successfully services its diverse customer base.
