The eight finalists in this year’s financial planner of the year Awards have been announced.

This year there are two categories in the awards, the CFP of the Year, which is open to New Zealand-based advisers who hold the internationally-recognised Certified Financial Planner of the Year designation, and the Young Financial Planner of the Year Award.
The finalists in the CFP of the Year are:

The finalists in the inaugural Young Financial Planner of the Year Awards are:
Kim Bowater New Zealand Financial Planning,
Auckland
Lisa Dudson Acumen Financial Planning, Auckland
Nicole Hoy New Zealand Financial Planning, Wellington
Bryce Pratt Spicers Portfolio Management, Palmerston North
An awards presentation and dinner will be held in Auckland on November 19.
The dinner is a celebration of financial planning in New Zealand and an opportunity to acknowledge the best in the industry.
The Awards are organised by Good Returns and sponsored by AMP, ING, Sovereign and Tower, with prizes supplied by Morningstar, Microsoft and Telecom.
