Prior to working at BNP Paribas, Long spent 10 years at ABN AMRO Australia Limited as general manager, Victoria, with responsibility for distribution of investment banking products to major corporations and institutions.
Long will have responsibility for the distribution and communications functions for Absolute Capital’s full range of multi manager hedge funds and structured debt products.
Absolute Capital recently launched Australia’s first collateralised debt obligation (CDO) fund, The Absolute Capital Alternative Debt Fund No 1. The Absolute Capital Group is Australia’s largest independent alternative investment fund of fund managers, with $262 million under management spread across five investment products on behalf of Australian and New Zealand institutional and retail investors.
