UF backs NZ Institute savings scheme

United Future leader Peter Dunne is throwing his support behind the latest recommendation from the thinktank, the New Zealand Institute, aimed at increasing ordinary New Zealanders ownership of assets.

The report, called "Opportunity for a Lifetime: Creating an ownership society in New Zealand", is the fourth and final report to be released by the New Zealand Institute around the theme of 'Creating an Ownership Society' in New Zealand.

"This recommendation lines up very nicely with United Future's announced policy on helping the nation's graduates relieve the burden of high debt just when just when they are beginning to contribute to the workforce, buy their first homes and start a family," he said.
