Moira Irving joins Strategic

Strategic Asset Management (SAM) has appointed financial industry professional Moira Irving to the position of business development manager.

SAM is an independent private banking firm that provides a wide range of wealth management solutions for private and institutional investors, fiduciaries and professional service firms.

Irving has an MBA Massey University, is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Certificate in Company Directing from the Institute of Directors.

From 2002 until 2004 she was managing director of Enable Ltd, a company that provides educational financial planning seminars for the employees of both public and private companies.

Prior to this she was the managing director of Carrington's Ltd Financial and Investment advisers for five years.

Most recently she was the National Party Candidate for the New Plymouth electorate and Councillor for the Taranaki Regional Council.

SAM managing director Alex Fowler says the company expects to appoint more senior members to the team over the next 12 months.
