BT appoints COO for New Zealand

BT Funds Management has appointed Fiona Oliver as its chief operating officer for the New Zealand business.

Oliver will transition from her current role as legal counsel and take up her new responsibilities focusing on the management and growth of the BTNZ business in mid-July.

The New Zealand investment team will continue to report to BT's chief investment officer, Guy Strapp, in Australia.

Oliver came to BT in 2003 with extensive experience as a corporate finance lawyer, both in private practice and as corporate counsel in Sydney and in London.
