Industry professionals will gather to hear New Zealand's leading politicians discuss the future direction of financial services during Finsia's - the Financial Services Institute of Australasia's - inaugural 'Government Speaks - Ka kōrero te Kāwanatanga' breakfast event on Wednesday 13 December 2006 in Wellington.

This leading event will provide new thought provoking insights into the future for New Zealand's financial services industry and the notion of protecting Kiwi wealth.

The aim of Finsia's new 'Government Speaks - Ka kōrero te Kāwanatanga' series is to raise the industry's level of awareness about key regulatory, policy and legislative changes and industry trends and provide an open forum for constructive dialogue.

During the event, Finsia will also launch new opinion polling, conducted by Roy Morgan Research, which will provide a comprehensive snapshot of the finance industry's views on key issues facing the sector and Kiwis at large.
