The Investment Store expands with appointment of a new business development manager.

It has appointed Chris Smith to the role, who along with managing director Matthew Mimms, will be responsible for growing and maintaining The Investment Store’s relationships with financial intermediaries around New Zealand on behalf of its fund manager clients.

Smith was previously Investment Distribution Manager with Sovereign Assurance. He has extensive experience in the investment and financial planning industry in both New Zealand and the UK. His qualifications include a Masters Degree in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and an Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (UK).

"Chris’ appointment is part of The Investment Store’s growth plans for 2007 and its ongoing commitment to provide high quality service to its fund manager and intermediary clients," Mimms says.

The Investment Store is a specialist provider of distribution services to boutique and specialist fund managers. It is currently the exclusive distributor in NZ for Liontamer Protected Investments and Hunter Hall Investment Management.
