Two KiwiSaver appointments for Tower

Tower has made two new appointments to its newly created Workplace Investments team. Tamara Stewart has been appointed to the role of National Relationship Manager and Ken O'Rourke as Key Account Manager, based in Christchurch. Stewart was most recently Key Account Manager - Workplace, for Tower Investments. Since joining the compant Stewart has been instrumental in establishing some of the key corporate relationships and opportunities for its KiwiPlan product, and is well placed to lead Tower's Workplace Investments team in the upcoming months as KiwiSaver establishes itself as the dominant strategy for retirement savings.

Her main focus will be leveraging KiwiSaver and LifeSaver (existing superannuation customers.

The Workplace Investments team reports to Jeff Knight, National Manager Corporate and Alliances for Tower Health and Life.

O'Rourke has been with Tower Managed Funds as a Business Development Manager since May 2003, working closely with intermediaries in the upper North Island. He was seconded to the Workplace Investments team in March and since then has been specialising in KiwiSaver presentations and liaising with both direct clients and intermediaries. He will be responsible for developing and supporting workplace distributions channels in the South Island region.
