Fisher Funds has employed two new investment analysts to run its to-be-listed international share fund Marlin.

The two new appointments are Ken Applegate, an experienced global small company fund manager, and Scott Brown, a global small company analyst who will be based in the US.

Applegate is described as an experienced portfolio manager who for more than eight years has been using a similar investment approach as Fisher Funds. His most recent role was Lead Portfolio Manager of the Harlingwood Capital Management Small Cap Growth portfolio at Berkeley Capital Management.

Fisher Funds has also employed experienced investment analyst, Scott Brown, to work along side Applegate. Brown is based in San Francisco so that the team can cover the different time zones associated with international investing. The two men have previously worked together.
