Mercer elevates Lewington

Mercer has elevated Martin Lewington to the role of Head of Investment, New Zealand, extending his role to oversee the company's entire investment consulting and management business in this country.

Lewington, who joined Mercer in 2006, was one of the main architects of the investment strategy for Mercer's KiwiSaver products.

"Martin is an investment and wealth management professional of the highest calibre and he has very strong networks within the investment community in New Zealand. I have no doubt that he will excel in this role, which is focused on the development of the best solutions and advice for clients across the full spectrum of Mercer's investment businesses," Head of Mercer New Zealand Bernie O'Brien said. Mr Lewington has extensive experience in investment management and consulting. Prior to joining Mercer he was a Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Wellington, and held roles in Wealth Management and Corporate Finance Services; and a Senior Manager at Ernst and Young, both in Wellington and London.
