Michael Warrington, who helped establish Westpac's fixed interest service for advisers, is joining Kapiti sharebroker Chris Lee's business.

Warrington is replacing Denis Ryan who has decided to retire.

Warrington has had 21 years in financial markets, 18 years with what was Jarden & Co, then CS First Boston, now named First NZ Capital, with many years specialising in fixed interest, and securities trading.

In the last three years he has had a senior role in the Financial Markets role with Westpac and more recently ANZ/National, where his role has been in liaising with the participants in the wholesale markets, and helping develop knowledge of many intermediaries.

"I asked Michael to join our broking firm because as well as being knowledgeable he has an admirable attitude towards clients, his integrity has been admired throughout the industry, and he has an excellent attitude to life, with focus on his own family and the community," Lee says.

Warrington will offer advice to any client, he will assist me in analysing and researching products and companies.
