Tyndall Investment Management has made a series of internal promotions and external recruitments designed to help the company build on its current success, managing director Greg Campbell says.

Former FundSource general manager Binu Paul is joining Tyndall and will have wholesale client management responsibilities as Head of Institutional Markets.

Also joining the company is new Head of Product Management Stephen Stewart, who previously held product and marketing responsibilities at New Zealand Funds Management. Stewart's immediate priorities are to develop the product management capabilities for Tyndall and Suncorp Wealth Management, and to manage the company's PIE and KiwiSaver activities.

Lydia Cetina, who previously worked for Guardian Trust and ANZ, is Tyndall's new Administration Manager.

In-house, three senior promotions have been made. Peter Lynn has taken the role of Head of Strategy, leading investment strategy and commentaries, strategic asset allocation, management of global managers and business strategy.

Ant Harland assumes the role of Head of Operations, and will be responsible for a wide range of internal and external supplier relationships, compliance, risk management, systems and processes, and financial control.

Helen McKenzie's new head of distribution role will build Tyndall's business with the mezzanine and financial planning platforms.
