Hanover's BDM on his bike

Neville Giles has announced he will be leaving Hanover for the second time next month.

As Hanover's distribution manager, he initially worked as a BDM for Elders Finance and helped launch United Finance. He returned to Hanover in September 2006 to help their launch into alternative products.

"With changes in the market our strategy is now firmly focused on our core business, therefore the opportunities which initially caused me to re-join Hanover are now less likely to eventuate," Giles said.

His next position will be astride a pushbike in France, where he plans to cycle the entire 2007 Tour De France route in May/June.

Hanover is currently recruiting for a BDM to replace Giles.
