Tower Investments has recently made a number of key hires to help it achieve a growth mandate, given by the company's board.

As reported on Good Returns earlier Roger Perry has left AMP Financial Services and joined Tower.

Also shifting from AMP to Tower are Ian Millar, who has run AMP's workplace superannuation and KiwiSaver business, and Andrew Lance who has been with NZ Funds Management and Macquarie. Both Millar are Lance will spearhead a new drive in the wholesale market.

Tower has also hired Brent Buchanan, from AMP, to head up its property investment business.

The position of National Distribution Manager, formerly held by Stuart Auld, has been dis-established. TOWER Investments CEO Sam Stubbs said: "We have been given a growth mandate by the board and these senior appointments show how serious we are. This is a great time to be hiring the best talent out there."
