IFA gets Investment SIG chair

Dave Gordon has been selected as the first chairmain of the Institute of Financial Advisers new Investment Special Interest Group.

Gordon has been and IFA board member previously and has spent most of the past decade developing policy for investment advisers within Public Trust. "This is a very important area of advice and there may well be a need for guidelines on topics such as diversification – since a few advisers suggesting finance company investments seem to have forgotten the basic principle," IFA chief executive David Hutton says.
