New wealth manager for Macquarie

Macquarie Private Wealth New Zealand has signed up James Malden to its Wellington office.

Malden joins the Macquarie team from the Bank of New Zealand where he was a senior private banker responsible for managing investment portfolios and overseeing a team of 10 investment professionals.

Malden’s appointment is the first of many planned by Macquarie, as part of its focus of growth across its NZ-based retail operations.

During his 13 years in the industry Malden has specialized in providing comprehensive investment advice to a range of investors, including trustees, corporate and charitable organisations.
