PSIS has increased it short-term fixed rates.  Its six-month rate rose by 25 basis points to 5.70% and its one-year rate has risen by 10 basis points to 5.95%.  Both rates are still well below the median rate for all lenders.

In news today we look at the sale of PLAN NZ to LoanMarket, the mortgage broking subsidiary of the Ray White real estate group and how the Reserve Bank of Australia has hiked interest rates for a third month in a row.
