NZMBA implements national training co-ordinator

The New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association (NZMBA) has announced the appointment of John Melton as its training co-ordinator to help members prepare for regulatory requirements.

Thursday, March 25th 2010, 11:34AM

Melton previously worked for the NZMBA in a training capacity and has since been involved in the management of VIVA Home Loans. He has now taken the contractor position of NZMBA training co-ordinator.

NZMBA chairman Darren Pratley says Melton will be able to assist the association in developing and delivering appropriate courses in consultation with training providers to help members to prepare and comply with the regulatory environment.

"This will be a critical area that will help members understand the steps they need to complete and provide training in areas that are required."

He says Melton will also be able to co-ordinate assessment and examination facilities for members in the most cost effective way.  It is intended that NZMBA will work in with Heads of Groups to facilitate this further.
