With over 30 years experience in insurance and financial services, Haak has been an adviser and has held most sales management positions within the insurance industry.
In 1994 he joined Sovereign and has been a strong industry advocate for the third party advice process.
Haak was a past director of Sovereign, ASB Group Investments, NZ Franchise Services and most recently head of adviser distribution.
He is a member of the Sovereign Executive, a position he has held for 13 years.
Haak is happily married to Julie and has four children, two of whom are also in the industry.
He loves spending time at his bach is Whangamata and is an avid surfer and fisherman.
