TSB Bank has added 10 basis points to its one and two-year fixed home loan rates yesterday.  The rates are now 6.15% and 7.19% respectively and are the lowest offered by a bank by a good margin. It has also been well over a month since TSB last made changes to these rate terms.

A "staggering 20%" of New Zealanders are prepared to skip a mortgage repayment over the next year if they run short of cash according to a new study.
