With the Reserve Bank governor Alan Bollard raising the official cash rate (OCR) by 25 basis points to 2.75% yesterday with more hikes to be expected over the coming quarters, economists are saying that the rise means floating and short-term rates will start to increase, but borrowers shouldn't panic.

So far, there have been no mortgage rate changes.
