Why are banks so slow?

Monday, March 21st 2011, 9:14AM

Once again a quiet start to the week with no changes to report. There is quite a bit of talk at the moment about why it takes the banks so long to lower their floating rates for exisiting customers after the OCR cut. Mary Holm talked about it in her column on the weekend and we have fielded enquiries too.Would be interested in any thoughts you have on this. You can send them to editor@mortgagerates.co.nz
