Perpetual Adviser Tribute

Perpetual wishes to acknowledge the contribution that Adam Fisher made to its business as an adviser in its Christchurch office.

Saturday, April 2nd 2011, 10:49AM 1 Comment

Sadly, Adam was killed in the quake on Feb 22nd.  Adam will be remembered for his enthusiasm, his warm yet professional nature and the high level of care and integrity with which he dealt with his clients and their affairs.  At just 27 years of age, the profession has lost a future star and one that the Perpetual team were proud to have as a colleague and friend.

We are grateful for the IFA in making the Adam Fisher Memorial Fund the official 2011 Conference charity.  Adam left behind a partner and two sons, the second being born only a few days after the quake.  Through the Memorial Fund and our own PGC Earthquake Fund, his family will find support.

Perpetual's other three Christchurch advisers were also in the PGC Building when the quake hit.  Gill Allan was able to walk out but Brian Coker and Glenn Weston were trapped for several hours before being rescued and are presently recovering from the injuries they sustained.

Perpetual lost 10 of its team to the quake in total across their advice, trust, corporate and finance divisions.  The support of the business community has been incredible, with generous assistance extended from both business partners and competitors alike.
