Baldwin was responsible for establishing New Zealand's first wrap platform, Aegis, later moving to head up ASB's KiwiSaver and Portfolio Investment Entity change programme.

"It's very exciting to be leading another new business initiative with significant growth potential," he said.

"I have been familiar with the Amadeus platform for many years, and like the way it has evolved to serve the changing needs of its clients.

"I will be focused on developing opportunities to position Amadeus for continued growth, in line with the developments required to promote New Zealand as a regional funds administration hub."
