Why the RBNZ's approach to interest rates is flawed

Guess what? No rate changes today. But we have the second in a third paper from economist Rodney Dickens on interest rate settings. In this one he argues that the way the Reserve Bank sets the OCR is fundamentally flawed. Have a read of the story and the full report here.

Next week he promises to to provide a solution the question how should the Reserve Bank set rates. We're looking forward to finding out the answer.
