Kiwibank jiggles its fixed rates

Friday, September 30th 2011, 5:02AM

Kiwibank had done a bit of a jiggle and shaved 10 and 20 points off its two and three year fixed rates. The new rates are 6.30% and 6.70% respectively. The move follows a similar one earlier this week by its related company NZ Home Loans.

NZF, which has finally revealed its new equity partner, also lowered its two year rate. We have sorted the table on two year rates, lowest to highest here, and it is pretty crowded with many lenders within a 10 point range.
