Gordon Noble-Campbell, who has been the managing director at Spicers, is leaving the firm to take up a role in wealth management business at Forsyth Barr.

Noble-Campbell has been at Spicers for seven years, the last five of them in the top job.

AMP managing director Jack Regan says that "given Gordon's departure it is appropriate as part of ongoing changes to our operating model designed to deliver our business strategy that we take the opportunity to further align the Spicers business within the AMP family."

"In due course we expect to appoint an Auckland-based managing director for the Spicers business. This role will report to Blair Vernon as part of our Marketing and Customer Sales team."

"The change in reporting line reflects our continued emphasis on the Spicers business and will enable us to better achieve our strategic outcomes as we work to deliver growth, drive profitability and build on the momentum Gordon and the team has generated."

Noble-Campbell will remain at Spicers until July.
