When Naomi Ballantyne set up Club Life he was appointed chairman and following the acquisition of Club Life by ING, he became chairman of ING Life.

Other directorships he has held in financial services include: At Work Insurance Limited, Instant Finance, Metlifecare and ING Real Living Group,

Currently Fitzsimmons is chairman of Counties Power, chairman of the Apprenticeship Training Trust and a director of Workforce Development.

Triplejump chief executive Cecilia Farrow said, “Peter has worked with the board on some key strategic actions over the past two years and his involvement was invaluable and so to now be able to extend this to a non-executive directors role is a great outcome for Triplejump”.
