Helen Troup, who headed OnePath in New Zealand during its dark days sorting out problems over its failed CDO-backed products, is now the head of life and health at reinsurer Swiss Re.

Swiss Re has a number of treaties with various life insurance companies in New Zealand.

Troup headed OnePath (or ING as it was then called) from July 2008 to February 2011. Prior to that she was the executive director of life insurance at ING Australia.

In this article she talks about her new role and also here experiences dealing with the ING Diversified Yield Fund failure in New Zealand.

Good for you Helen. A lovely lady who was treated very badly by those who confuse people with mere numbers. Shame on them then and now.
