Coplestone goes Batty

Clayton Coplestone has added a new member to his team at Heathcote Investment Partners

Coplestone says David Batty as joined the firm as a key account executive specialising in presenting a variety of domestic and offshore yield and income capabilities.

"David is well regarded throughout the New Zealand advisory industry for delivering prompt and reliable updates and insights into how yield solutions can add value in client portfolios.

"Our increasing Client base, and highly regarded activities have attracted a significant number of intermediary groups to support the quality capabilities that our Company represents”.

Batty has been the New Zealand operations manager and business development manager for LM Investments for nearly five years.

He qualified as a financial adviser in the United Kingdom in 1995, and subsequently worked for both a top five bank and then progressed to a large firm of accountants as a senior financial adviser tasked with growing their financial services business. During this time he worked closely with the forensic accountancy team and it became only one of two UK accountancy practices with the experitse to advise on structured settlements with regard to large multi-million personal injury awards.

Heathcote Investment Partners was established in 2008 and is a third party distributor of boutique investment services to family offices, financial intermediaries, institutions and authorised financial advisors. 

Among its fund manager clients are K2, Premium China, Pengana, Centuria Property Fund and Forsyth Barr Funds Management.
