AIA New Zealand has appointed Steven Brunskill as its new chief operating officer.
He has come from a 19 year career in the banking industry with ANZ. During this time he has worked across both the corporate/institutional and the retail sides of the business with an emphasis on operations. He has had a variety of leadership roles including –General Manager Retail Support ANZ National Bank, Chief Operating Officer – ANZ Retail, and the Head of Business Technology Solutions.
More recently he has been the Head of eBusiness for State Insurance.
Brunskill’s business acumen offers a proven track record of fostering and improving business by his leadership and people development across a variety of functions, locations and brands.
His vast experience with strategic planning, operations and project management combined with a focus on improving customer experience provides a solid base for himto transition into a new field of insurance.
Burnskill will be responsible for leading the operations function for AIA New Zealand.
