Kiwibank's "lowest-ever" rate

The mortgage rate war continues, with Kiwibank offering the lowest rate it has offered since the bank opened its doors 11 years ago.

The rate of 4.79% for six months is not restricted to new customers and does not have a minimum lending requirement or minimum deposit.

Kiwibank’s chief executive Paul Brock said the rate was for a limit time, in a very competitive home loan market.
